2012 Here We Go!!!

Well, it's the start of a new year and AWR Designs is going strong! After several big and successful craft shows near the end of 2011, I began getting several requests for my popular beaded ID badge lanyards from co-workers where I work my full-time day job. Here are a few beaded lanyards that I have recently created and sold:

I also received an order for 3 sets of one of my Swarovski crystal and pearl jewelry sets. Anastasia Burley, who lives in Pennsylvania and is getting married in May 2012, requested 3 sets (necklace, bracelet, & earrings) of my light blue and white Swarovski crystal and pearl jewelry sets for her 3 bridesmaids. Each necklace and bracelet is strung with light blue and white Swarovski crystal pearls, light sapphire and clear bicone crystals, and light blue bugle beads, with an extender that has a crystal and pearl dangle attached. The closure for both necklace and bracelet is a silver heart-shaped lobster claw clasp, which adds a nice little touch. The matching earrings are made with the same Swarovski pearls and crystals and are attached to silver ear wires. Here are some pictures showing this beautiful bridal jewelry set:

I am very excited taking on this order for Anastasia, making the jewelry for her wedding, as I remember creating the jewelry for my entire wedding party when I was married in January 2011, and I love creating this kind of jewelry. The Swarovski pearls are so shiny and lustrous and the crystals are sparkling beauties!! I am still in the process of creating the jewelry and hair accessories for Anastasia and her daughter, who will be the flower girl in her wedding, and I will be posting updates, as I finish more of the jewelry.
