Anastasia's Wedding Jewelry Part 2

I am planning on doing a lot more blogging this year, so please keep reading, follow me, and comments are always welcome!!  I want to know how I can make this blog better and more interesting and entertaining for you, as I will take any advice or suggestions that you would like to share...

Continuing from where I left off in my most recent post, where I mentioned one of my most recent customers, a beautiful bride-to-be, Anastasia, whose wedding is just over 2 months away!!  She ordered 3 sets of one of my jewelry sets on Etsy back in December, for her 3 bridesmaids.  Pictures of this set are in my previous post...
2012 Here We Go!!

Anastasia requested that I create her bridal jewelry as well as the jewelry for her daughter, her flower girl in her wedding.  Through several emails, I learned more about Anastasia and exactly what she was looking for in her wedding jewelry.  I created this beautiful double-strand necklace made of Swarovski bicone clear crystals and Swarovski pearls in ivory with light blue pearls spread throughout one of the strands.  Also, several gorgeous Swarovski rhinestone spacers are placed continuously throughout one of the strands.  The clasp used in the necklace is a Swarovski Elements oval-shaped magnetic clasp with a rhinestone on the center.  The earrings I created have ivory and light blue pearls, rhinestone spacers, and ivory teardrop pearls, attached to sterling silver leverback ear wires.  I put this set together in a jewelry gift box and it's absolutely beautiful - I can't wait for her to see it!!  What I really want is to see this jewelry on her with her wedding dress!!  She better send me pics!!  LOL

Here are some pics of the design process...

And here's the finale!!

Through further conversations with Anastasia, she also requested that I create some hair pins to wear in her hair, which she will have in big loose curls - sounds gorgeous!!  After a few attempts at various hair pins and clips, I asked her to send me some pictures of what she really wanted and I was able to find the exact V-shaped bobby pins and make these beautiful hair pins.  I made several different styles and asked her to pick which one(s) she liked best.  She picked 2 of them and asked me to make 4 of each of them.

Here are the hair pins that I created and had Anastasia choose which ones she wanted:

And the winners are...

I plan to finish Anastasia's daughter's jewelry set this weekend.  In my next blog post, I will be posting pictures of that set and all the sets in their boxes together, ready to be shipped to Anastasia.  So stay tuned for the final session of this series... on Asastasia's wedding jewelry!!  :)
