Bridal Order for Tracey - Part 1

So... Moving on to my next big bridal jewelry order, and just in time... as I just finished my last big jewelry order for Anastasia.  So I was ready for another big order... And wow, did I get a big order!!  Tracey, like Anastasia, found me on Etsy and was interested in one of my bridal jewelry sets that I had listed, featuring Swarovski bronze and ivory pearls and Swarovski smoked topaz and clear crystals.  She contacted me, asking if I could make her 13 sets (for 8 bridesmaids and 5 usherettes).  I gladly accepted and started working on designs that could possibly work for both...

After emailing each other a few times, in addition to her sending me pictures of her dress, her bridesmaids dress, and her usherettes dress, we decided to change up the colors some, based on her wedding colors of burnt orange, dark brown, and tan... Wow, what a beautiful combination of colors for a fall wedding in October. I suggested that we make one set for the bridesmaids and another set for the usherettes.  So I started working on some more designs, one with the bridesmaid dress in mind, and one with the usherette dress in mind.

So for the bridesmaids, I started with some beautiful burnt orange glass pearls that I had found on Etsy, champagne glass pearls, and some Swarovski deep brown pearls.

For the usherette designs, I created a design with the same glass champagne pearls and Swarovski deep brown pearls, and replaced the burnt orange glass pearls with some Swarovski bronze pearls.

And here are some pictures with both designs together...

Stay tuned for my next blog, where I will talk about and show pictures of the bridal designs I created for Tracey to wear with her gorgeous wedding dress!!  Also, the bridal party has grown, to almost 20 jewelry sets!!  She asked me to make the jewelry for her 3 program girls, jr. bridesmaid, and flower girl.  So exciting!!  I love creating bridal jewelry!!!  :-)  So, obviously, I will be posting more on all of these jewelry designs and then end with the final bridal jewelry that Tracey will choose for her wedding in October...  :-)

Anastasia's Wedding Jewelry - Part 4

Just writing an update to my latest big bridal order I thought I had finished... LOL  To summarize my last 3 posts, I was asked to do a bridal jewelry order by Anastasia (bride-to-be, who will be getting married May 5, in less than 3 weeks, in Cape May, NJ), who happened to find me on Etsy.  She requested 3 of my light blue and white Swarovski pearls and crystals jewelry sets for her bridesmaids.  This led to her asking me to make jewelry for herself, her daughter (flower girl), and her guest book attendant for the wedding.
To read up on the details of the this amazing journey of creating Anastasia's bridal jewelry, please see my prior blog posts, filled with pictures of the jewelry I custom handmade for her and her wedding party...

Anastasia's Bridal Jewelry - Part 3

Well, after I shipped everything out and she received it, she wrote me telling me how everything was perfect and wonderful, but requested that I re-size a few items - her necklace and her daughter's necklace and bracelet, which I happily agreed to.  So she shipped the items back and I adjusted them accordingly.

Once she received her re-sized adjusted jewelry, she requested that I create a jewelry set for the moms in the wedding - her mom (mother of the bride) and her fiance's mom (mother of the groom), so we began the process of picking out designs and colors to complete these 2 additional jewelry sets.
She decided on pink and white Swarovski pearls for her mom and she wanted a champagne/bronze/platinum color for her finance's mom.  So I sent her a couple pics with these color choices.

She chose the platinum Swarovski pearl, the one shown in the upper left corner.  So I created a couple different styles of necklaces and she chose the one shown below, in pink & white, and in platinum and white pearls with clear crystals.  She also asked me to create matching clip-on earrings.  Below are several pictures I took of these 2 sets and I sure hope both moms enjoy wearing these beautiful necklaces and earrings in Anastasia's wedding!!

Anastasia's Wedding Jewelry - Part 3

So... I finally finished Anastasia's wedding jewelry, and so this is the final part in my series covering the jewelry I designed and created for her wedding.  To catch up on the earlier parts in this series, please see the following links:

2012 Here We Go!!

Anastasia's Wedding Jewelry - Part 2

In my final work for Anastasia's bridal jewelry, I was working on finishing up her daughter's (her flower girl) jewelry, and she also requested me to create a jewelry set (necklace and bracelet) for her guest book attendant.

Here are pics of my work on the flower girl jewelry.  The bracelet is elastic and contains white and light blue Swarovski crystal pearls with 8mm rhinestone spacers.  I also added a silver heart and 2 silver bead spacers to give the bracelet a nice little touch.

The necklace is made just like the bracelet, with light blue and white Swarovski crystal pearls and rhinestone spacers, adorned with a heart-shaped magnetic clasp.  The silver post pearl earrings are made with light blue and white Swarovski pearls, rhinestone spacer, and has a rhinestone sparkle in the sterling post earring base.

Next, I put together a jewelry set for Anastasia's guest book attendant - a matching necklace and bracelet with creamrose Swarovski crystal pearls with clear bicone crystals.

I also added a nice little surprise... 2 small mini hair barrettes - one with light blue Swarovski pearls and light sapphire bicone crystals, one with ivory Swarovski pearls and clear crystal bicones...

I hope that Anastais enjoys her jewelry.  She promised to send me pictures from her wedding in May, so I'm hoping for some close-ups that I will post here on my blog.

Wow, this was so much fun... creating the jewelry for Anastais'a wedding!!

Anastasia's Wedding Jewelry Part 2

I am planning on doing a lot more blogging this year, so please keep reading, follow me, and comments are always welcome!!  I want to know how I can make this blog better and more interesting and entertaining for you, as I will take any advice or suggestions that you would like to share...

Continuing from where I left off in my most recent post, where I mentioned one of my most recent customers, a beautiful bride-to-be, Anastasia, whose wedding is just over 2 months away!!  She ordered 3 sets of one of my jewelry sets on Etsy back in December, for her 3 bridesmaids.  Pictures of this set are in my previous post...
2012 Here We Go!!

Anastasia requested that I create her bridal jewelry as well as the jewelry for her daughter, her flower girl in her wedding.  Through several emails, I learned more about Anastasia and exactly what she was looking for in her wedding jewelry.  I created this beautiful double-strand necklace made of Swarovski bicone clear crystals and Swarovski pearls in ivory with light blue pearls spread throughout one of the strands.  Also, several gorgeous Swarovski rhinestone spacers are placed continuously throughout one of the strands.  The clasp used in the necklace is a Swarovski Elements oval-shaped magnetic clasp with a rhinestone on the center.  The earrings I created have ivory and light blue pearls, rhinestone spacers, and ivory teardrop pearls, attached to sterling silver leverback ear wires.  I put this set together in a jewelry gift box and it's absolutely beautiful - I can't wait for her to see it!!  What I really want is to see this jewelry on her with her wedding dress!!  She better send me pics!!  LOL

Here are some pics of the design process...

And here's the finale!!

Through further conversations with Anastasia, she also requested that I create some hair pins to wear in her hair, which she will have in big loose curls - sounds gorgeous!!  After a few attempts at various hair pins and clips, I asked her to send me some pictures of what she really wanted and I was able to find the exact V-shaped bobby pins and make these beautiful hair pins.  I made several different styles and asked her to pick which one(s) she liked best.  She picked 2 of them and asked me to make 4 of each of them.

Here are the hair pins that I created and had Anastasia choose which ones she wanted:

And the winners are...

I plan to finish Anastasia's daughter's jewelry set this weekend.  In my next blog post, I will be posting pictures of that set and all the sets in their boxes together, ready to be shipped to Anastasia.  So stay tuned for the final session of this series... on Asastasia's wedding jewelry!!  :)
